History:

1971 - TMT starts in business selling Panasonic phone systems.

1988 - NEC decides to move its North American headquarters to Dallas and Nick Russo and Phil Randolph decide to stay and start EXCEL Communications. Nick and Phil offer over 30 years of combined experience in the telecom industry.

1989 - Excel is awarded NEC Authorized Dealer status.

1999 - TMT and EXCEL Communications join together to form TMT-EXCEL Communication Services.

TMT-EXCEL relocates its headquarters to Hauppauge, NY, the center of business in Suffolk County.
